On 13 December 2013 Silas Nzumbululo Siphuma (left) and Norman Tshilidzi Raphulu (right) graduated with the LLM degree under the auspices of the SARCPL. Silas received his LLM cum laude, only the fourth LLM from the Research Chair to achieve this honour. Professor André van der Walt (centre) was the supervisor of both LLM theses.
Silas Nzumbululo Siphuma graduated LLM cum laude. The title of his thesis is “the lessor’s tacit hypothec: A constitutional analysis”. Silas is staying on at the SARCPL to continue his studies and complete a LLD.
Norman Tshilidzi Raphulu’s thesis is entitled “the right of way of necessity: A constitutional analysis”. Norman is currently considering an academic position at various universities.
