Mr Nzumbululo Silas Siphuma awarded the medal for best results in the LLM degree in the Faculty of Law for 2013
On the 23rd of October 2014, at the Rector’s Awards for Excellence Achievement ceremony, Mr Nzumbululo Silas Siphuma was awarded the medal and a certificate for the best results in the LLM degree in the Faculty of Law for 2013. The award is based on the marks (average 78%) he was awarded by the two examiners of his LLM thesis, entitled The Lessor’s Tacit Hypothec: A Constitutional Analysis. Mr Siphuma received his LLM degree cum laude during the December graduation ceremony in 2013. He completed his thesis under the supervision of Prof AJ van der Walt (incumbent of the South African Research Chair in Property Law – SARCPL), where he was a full-time LLM candidate and research intern during 2012-2013. Mr Siphuma is currently a full-time doctoral candidate and research intern at the SARCPL.
